The Cove

The Cove is a warm, nurturing nursery environment available to children aged 12 weeks to 18 months. With a capacity for up to 16 children, this space is thoughtfully designed to support the delicate transition from home to care, offering a sense of security, belonging, and individual attention for each child and their family.

Our educators focus on building strong, consistent relationships with every child, taking the time to understand their routines, cues, and comfort needs. We know that the earliest months of life are foundational, and we work closely with families to ensure each baby feels safe, loved, and supported throughout their day.

The Cove features a designated cot room for restful, uninterrupted sleep, a kitchenette for preparing bottles and meals, and bathroom and changing facilities to ensure comfort and hygiene. The indoor space is calm, inviting, and filled with gentle, sensory-rich opportunities for exploration that support early development in a relaxed and unhurried way.

A key feature of The Cove is its own dedicated outdoor environment — a safe, age-appropriate space where babies can enjoy fresh air, natural textures, and quiet moments of discovery. The area includes beautiful clear fencing that allows children to observe the gentle flow of Kananook Creek, encouraging early connections to nature and a growing awareness of the world around them. Whether lying on soft grass, feeling the warmth of the sun, or watching the water drift by, children are given space to grow, connect, and explore at their own pace.
